With a strong background in the design and production of major construction projects, Mr. Blumenthal's expertise encompasses both renovation and new construction. He is well-versed in the management of design and documentation for large-scale mixed-use projects, including those of historical significance. Mr. Blumenthal is thoroughly familiar with District of Columbia building and zoning regulations, housing standards, and document production for complex, phased work. Since joining the firm in 1999, he has served as project manager and architect for a range of notable mixed-use projects. A LEED Accredited Professional, Mr. Blumenthal is an advocate for sustainable design and addressing the specific long-term needs of the people who will ultimately use the buildings. Mr. Blumenthal received his Master of Architecture (with distinction) and Bachelor of Science in Architecture degrees from the University of Michigan.
