AkridgeNamed for Daniel H. Burnham, the renowned architect of Washington, DC’s Union Station, Burnham Place is one of the largest transit-oriented developments of the East Coast rail corridor. The three million sf project combines residential, office, retail, hotel and intermodal transportation uses on a 15-acre platform spanning across the station’s operational rail yard.
SPLIT CONTENT
Key to the project’s success is the integration of challenging railroad requirements in the design of the platform and infrastructure. The project is being designed to achieve a LEED Silver Certification.
