U.S. Department of TreasuryAdjacent to the White House, this cabinet-level federal office building constructed between 1836 and 1869 houses functions of the highest level of national importance, and is a designated National Historic Landmark.
SPLIT CONTENT
SBA was retained for the complete modernization and restoration of the existing structure. The modernization addressed major life safety and operational deficiencies, bringing the building into line with modern standards while respecting its historic nature. Comprehensive new systems have been discretely inserted within the ornate original fabric. Elaborate interior spaces, including the monumental Cash Room and stair halls, have been fully restored.
