The Oronoco

In a park-like setting along the Potomac River, a landmark residential community was created through the extraordinary transformation of a 1980s era office building.

The existing five story concrete structure atop a two story podium garage was stripped to its frame, expanded, and re-skinned with brick, glass and metal facades to create a range of residences ranging in size from 1,600 sf to over 3,500 sf.  New units were carefully designed to maximize views and harmoniously integrate residences with the waterfront environment.  Each unit incorporates expansive glazing and generous outdoor space.  Solar shading, greenscaping, and stormwater strategies are among the features of this LEED Certified development.
